Ok so every person with a brain who isn’t personally receiving large sums of money from private healthcare firms (*cough*Andrew Lansley*cough*) can see that the current healthcare bill is a dangerous gateway drug leading to full privatisation. Yeah but it is though, don’t even argue.
The thing is a big part of any debate on the subject tends to include people from both sides (brain and non-brain) violently agreeing that GP’s should be responsible for healthcare budgets.
HAVE YOU PEOPLE LOST YOUR FUCKING MINDS?
An accountant would give piss poor advice when I ask him about my niggling back pain, so naturally GP’s are perfect people to be put in charge of big budgets. FFS GP’s are paid a fuckload to treat people’s medical ailments not to fanny about with spreadsheets and dick about playing procurement manager. I’d rather have specialists responsible for each area of the NHS to ensure that we get the best value for our money.
And no Tory jackass competition and profit will not deliver value. It just won’t.
Reform if you must but please do it right. I mean left. I mean…
The first essential iPad DJ app
Been playing with Sound Trends meta.DJ a lot this week. Here’s my first impression. (The video isn’t mine but I reckon I need to record one of my own soon ;) )
If you are an iPad owner with an interest in mixing then get meta.DJ from the app store now.
What’s it like you say?
Within a few minutes of firing this app up you’ll be seamlessly segueing between tracks from your iTunes library, looping measures, dropping in beats and synth lines, applying effects and filters, tweaking tweaking tweaking and BANG drop the track back in full force head bobbing, fist pumping, grin inducing live mixing and remixing.
Sound Trends have done an amazing job of bringing a suite of really useful DJ tools together in one seamless interface allowing you to interact with your music like never before. I just can’t leave it alone.
Why are you still reading this? Go get it.
